CLOSED CIRCUIT REBREATHER COURSE
Inspiration / Evolution CCR
So why use closed circuit, it simple
why waste it? Yes why waste such a large part of the
gas you breathe in each time by breathing it back
out into the atmosphere. The
Basic Closed Circuit Rebreather Diver Course (certification
depends on unit/electronics used) is your first step
into closed circuit rebreather diving and your first
truly quiet diving experience. Using the latest in
technology CCR’s maximize your gas supply of
Nitrox and provide the optimum breathing gas for any
depth by maintaining a constant partial pressure of
oxygen (PPO2).
This is the entry-level certification
course for recreational divers wishing to utilize
the Inspiration Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR). The
objectives of the course is to train recreational
divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures
for rebreather diving on the Inspiration CCR and to
develop basic rebreather diving skills appropriate
to diving within the normal recreational depth limits
of forty (40) msw using an air diluent for minimal
decompression diving.
The course is a unit specific course.
At DIver's Network, we own the four most popular units
on the market, The closed Circuit Rebreathers AP Diving
Vision Electronics Evolution and Buddy Inspiration
/ Hammerhead and Megalodon.
How Much Will This Cost ?
All TDI / ANDI / IANTD training materials
and all the main equipment rental are not included
in the course. You also need a bottom timer or multi
gas computer, a liftbag, and a reel if you don't have
any (these can be rent through Diver's Network), you
will need to pay for your gases. Go to check
prices. EMAIL US with any questions.
In addition to training we also sell
and service a variety of rebreathers and stock accessories,
including Sofnolime, Oxygen
Cells, Rebreather Computers and Computer Interfaces.
Inspiration
The Inspiration rebreather works on electronic controlled
02 injection which means that as 02 becomes metabolized
by our bodies, the system automatically replaces
the used 02 with fresh gas. The other major difference
of the closed circuit system is that it maintains
a constant P02 during the dive. This means that
instead of planning a mix for a given depth, the
rebreather constantly changes the mix to suit the
depth you are at. This way the system is continually
changing the 02 content to maximize 02 levels, and
therefore minimize N2 levels.
Evolution

The Evolution is the next step in time of the Inspiration.
This unit smaller in size is equipped with the latest
electronics and benefits of a Head Up Display, for
constant monitoring of the PPO2. The Evolution carries
smaller quantities of Sorbe and also smaller tanks,
making this unit the ideal recreational rebreather.
CCR courses we teach with inspiration
and Evolution:
TDI / ANDI / IANTD Inspiration
/ Evolution Closed Circuit Rebreather Air Diluent
Duration : 5 / 6 days
This is the entry level certification
course for divers wishing to utilize the Inspiration
/ Evolution Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) for
air diving. The objective of the course is to train
divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures
for diving a CCR and to develop basic CCR diving
skills to a maximum of one hundred thirty (130)
fsw / forty (40) msw using an air diluent for minimal
decompression diving (no greater than 5 minutes
required at 20fsw / 6 meters).
Student Pre-Requisites
The student must:
* Be a minimum age of eighteen
(18).
* Show proof of sixty (60) logged open water dives.
* Minimum certification level of Advanced Nitrox
Diver (Advanced Nitrox Diver may be combined with
this course) or equivalent from agencies recognized
by TDI.
TDI / ANDI / IANTD Inspiration
/ Evolution Mixed Gas Closed Circuit Rebreather
Duration : 5 / 6 days
This is the intermediate level
certification course for divers wishing to utilize
a Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) for mixed gas
diving. The objective of the course is to train
divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures
for mixed gas diving on the Inspiration & Evolution
CCR, utilizing a mixed gas diluent containing sixteen
(16%) percent or greater oxygen, and to develop
intermediate CCR diving skills appropriate to technical
diving to a maximum of two hundred (200) fsw / sixty
(60) msw.
Student Pre-Requisites
The student must:
* Be a minimum age of eighteen
(18).
* Have a verified log of a minimum of fifty (50)
rebreather hours distributed over a minimum of fifty
(50) dives on the specific rebreather. Fifty (50)
% deeper than sixty six (66) fsw / twenty (20) msw.
All to be deeper than twenty (30) fsw / nine (9)
msw. If the diver has fifty (50) hours on another
CCR unit recognized by TDI, only twenty five (25)
hours are required to be on the Inspiration / Evolution.
* Have completed and qualified the TDI Air Diluent
Rebreather Course or equivalent from agencies recognized
by TDI.
TDI / ANDI / IANTD Inspiration
/ Evolution Advance Mixed Gas Closed Circuit Rebreather
Duration : 5-8 days
This is the highest level certification
course for divers wishing to utilize the Inspiration
/ Evolution Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) for
advanced mixed gas diving. The objective of the
course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards
and proper procedures for advanced mixed gas diving
on a CCR and to develop advanced CCR diving skills
appropriate to technical diving to a maximum of
three hundred thirty (330) fsw / one hundred (100)
msw.
Student Pre-Requisites
The student must:
* 1. Be a minimum age of eighteen
(18).
* Have a verified log of a minimum of one hundred
(100) CCR hours distributed over a minimum of one
hundred (100) dives on the Inspiration / Evolution
CCR. Fifty (50) % of these dives must be deeper
than one hundred (100) fsw / thirty (30) msw. All
to be deeper than twenty (30) fsw / nine (9) msw.
If the diver has one hundred (100) hours on another
CCR unit recognized by TDI, only fifty (50) hours
are required to be on the Inspiration / Evolution.
* Have completed and qualified the TDI Air Diluent
CCR Course or equivalent from agencies recognized
by TDI.
