IE - Instructor Examination - Subic, Manila, Anilao, Philippines
Support During your IE
Most Course Directors and IDC Centers do not accompany their candidates during the Instructor Examination.
Although we know that your preparation is completed and our job over at the end of the IDC, we also take care of all the logistics during your IE and Tom your Course Director will accompany you through out the IE program.
This guarantees that you can concentrate 100% on your IE without wasting time worrying about paperwork, payments, transport, equipment and the like.
The PADI IE
The Instructor Exam is conducted by Examiners from PADI office and runs over 2 or 2 and half days. The IE examines your theoretical knowledge in all required areas as well as your classroom and in water teaching and presentation skills. Both confined and open water evaluations are conducted. Your rescue skills are also examined. The IE's have a set schedule around the world and the IDC's run by the Course Directors are scheduled to fit in with the IE. You may wish to take the IE in the Philippines or in another location.
IE Schedule Notes
1. The timeframe of the IE may vary depending on location, logistics and numbers of candidates. The most likely timeframes are:
- Evening Orientation and exam(s) followed by two days of evaluation.
- Morning Orientation followed by all evaluation over remaining two days. Refer to the dates below for an indication of the timeframe of any particular IE. These may change as circumstances dictate.
2. The schedule is subject to change. Be sure to use the most recent edition. You will find the most current IE schedule in the Instructor Development Calendar on www.padi.com
3. While every effort is made to conduct all scheduled IE's, PADI reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, relocate or combine IE's as staffing logistics and enrollments dictate.
PADI FEES
There are certain fees that need to be paid directly to PADI for the Instructor Development Course, Emergency First Response Instructor Course and Instructor Exam. As exchange rates are constantly changing we have decided it is better for you, if we do not include these fees in any of our packages. We will provide you with all the necessary paperwork and assist you to make your payments to PADI. As we are based within PADI Asia Pacific all PADI fees are based in Australian Dollars.
