Bonito dive site located in Culebra Island, Batangas (Philippines). Scuba Diving in Bonito you will get some strong currents which makes it necessary to hunt for quiet patches of water, which can usually be found on the lee side of one of these islands at most times of the day. Both islands are surrounded by shallow ledges at about 15-25 feet, with a rich supply of both soft and hard corals and plenty of reef fish. Between these two islands there is an underwater hotspring, which is a natural wonder. There is also a fish feeding area and a good spot for viewing sharks around this point. Good for big-game fishing and macro photography.

Location: The eastern end of Maricaban Island.
Access: 75 min by banca across the Maricaban Strait.
Conditions: Generally calm with strong currents, but both areas can become very rough. Visibility can reach 80 ft.

Maximum depth: 120 ft

These marine sanctuaries have patches of coral heads on sandy slopes from 20 to 80 ft. The scuba diving currents are often very fierce, making it necessary to try and find sheltered patches while scuba diving at Bonito dive site.
